United National Football League Seeking Franchise Owners
New Haven, Conn. (PRWEB) November 29, 2007 -- The United National Football League announced today that it is actively engaged in the process of finding potential franchise owners that will make up the leagues 22 teams for its inaugural season set to kick-off in January 2009.
The United National Football League is like no other league that has come before it. The UNFL is the first true developmental league focused on getting its athletes to the next level. The league is designed to create professional development opportunities for collegiate players who have the desire and physical ability to pursue this chosen career path. Similar to the minor league farm systems designed for the other professional sports, i.e. MLB, in which players compete against other top prospects throughout the country, the UNFL intends to do the same.
?Due to reasons ranging from inequities in media exposure and scouting methods of football players among various college divisions and conferences, to inadequate statistical measurements and arbitrary benchmarks, the current system to evaluate aspiring professional football athletes is seriously flawed. The UNFL can fill this gap by providing a truly competitive landscape to evaluate talent, enhance the player selection process, and enable professional football teams to provide the highest quality product to their loyal fan base,? states Marvin Tomlin, league Co-Founder.
The UNFL is seeking franchise owners who are committed to the game of football, to the professional development of athletes, and who want to be apart of something truly special.
For additional information on the UNFL you can go to the league?s website at www.unflf.com or you can contact Ben Eison, league Co-Founder directly:

It has two premiere football teams, the legendary Manchester United and the not so legendary Manchester City. With its relatively damp climate, a good strong roof over one's head is a must. The Hotel Manchester Renaissance offers just that.
